we have a pom and a frenchie. the pom gnaws at rawhides a little bit at a time and it will take her a month to eat one of those itty bitty ones (like 2-3" big). our frenchie on the other hand has to be closely monitored with them. hell swallow sasha's little bone in one sitting so i have to keep them away from him and we give him the costco sized one lol. its about 10" long and we only let him play with it for a half hour or so then throw it away when it gets gross. he has such a strong jaw we need to get him the huge ones other wise he goes right through them.
