I went home for lunch and all over the news they said that they identified the chemical in the recalled pet foods as Rat Poison and they determined that the wheat product came from China and a form of the rat poison is used on their crops.
Now I can get on my soapbox and scream against outsourcing. These pet food companies cant find farmers to grow wheat HERE in the US? oh wait, I forgot, they must go to other countries where the product is cheaper and children are hired as cheap labor.
I am so disgusted.
