Rain boots- solid black or black with B&W camellias

Hi- My local Chanel is stocked with the camellia rain boots. I want the black boots, but can't decide between 2 black camellias (i.e. tone on tone) or black and white camellias (and white heels). Please help me decide!

I just encountered that decision. In fact, my black and white (2-tone) just arrived today via FedEx!

The black on black would obviously be easier to keep clean, but I figured they're RAINBOOTS. They're meant to get rain and mud on em'! The all black is nice but they were just kind of "blah" for me. I feel the two-tone colors are so classic Chanel, black and white! I loooooove the contrast. It was definitely hands down two-tone for me, but either way you can't go wrong with Chanel rainboots. The two-tone stand out so much more to me than the all black, but that's just my two cents.

I agree that the two tone ones seem more fun and interesting. On the other hand, the all black ones seem more sleek and sophisticated. I'm still torned, so I really want to hear some opinions.

BTW, was the all black boots available a couple of seasons ago? I know the bi-color ones were.

Can you tell me if it runs true to size? I normally wear 6/36 for boots so should I get the same size in the boots? I'm thinking of buying myself.

genegeri- I *think* they run TTS. It really depends on how you want to wear them. I'm told they are suppose to fit a little loose. I'm generally a 38.5 and the 39 fits right.

i just voted black/black. I have the old rainboots before they put camelias on them and I love them so much more. I'm not a flower kind of girl

I voted for black camelias on black boot. I just bought these from Neiman's last week. I love them! I don't like the white heel on the two tone version..looks kind of "too much going on" for my tastes..Black on black is easier to match with outfits.

As for sizing, I'm a US 7.5, Louboutins 37.5-38, and I got these rainboots ins a size 37 with room to spare for socks! Please note, these boots will not work on people with large calves.

def two tone, it's more fun that way!! I have the back w/white and white w/black ^^; If you wipe the white heels after each use, it's not hard to keep up with the rubber You definitely want to try them on first b/c some pp can't get in to it due to it's pull up style. good luck!

Hi PANda-USC- Do you mean that these won't fit ppl with big calves (i.e. the opening is very narrow) OR do you mean that they are not flattering for ppl w/ bigger calves? They fit over my calves w/ room to spare, but I'm not sure I love the look. I think I look kinda "stumpy".
