Hi, Gals

My best friend forever has given me several dozens of pieces of gorgeous Tiffany silver jewelry. Mostly Paloma Picasso designs. I love them!!!

The big problem: with my red hair and pale complexion, silver jewelry looks terrible on me.

I have asked my BFF to buy gold or copper or bronze jewelry instead. He continues to give me Tiffany silver jewelry.

So I called Dr. Joy Browne. I love her. Dr. Laura has zero degrees in psychology. So she is wrong in addition to being mean. Dr. Joy is the Real Thing. Tons of degrees in psych and medicine. Tons of kindness. Plus she is a practical problem solver.

Dr. Joy told me to enjoy the gifts and get them gold plated.

I hadn't thought of that!

So I have been getting my Tiffany jewelry 24k gold plated by a very nice gal in my town.

Plater, BFF, and I are all very happy!

That would never have crossed my mind. Would love to know the price range for gold plating though. It would be a great way to update jewelry pieces!

I've done the opposite - had yellow gold plated so it's white!
