I enjoy her 30-min meals show. It's basically endless variations of similar dishes (eg hamburgers or mashed potatoes) and that helps me be more creative.
1. Her recipes never take only 30 minutes. Try at least double that. They take Rachel only 30 minutes because she's MANIC and chops/stirs/moves at the speed of light.
2. She's way too chipper, hyper, and perky for me. I get tired just watching her.
I have a couple of her cookbooks, and while her recipes are usually pretty good, as KristyDarling points out, it's rare that they actually only take 30 minutes. Plus, she just really annoys me. I mean, YUM-O?? Who really says that?
I like her, but she does have some annoying traits. I was browsing one of her cookbooks that my mom has at home and I noticed that wherever she put down EVOO in a recipe, she always wrote (extra virgin olive oil) right after it. I mean whats the point of abbreveating a word if you're going to write it out right after?
