Rabies shot just put my dog in shock

I took my Yorkie for her 4 month shots today and the rabies just put her in shock. Dr is keeping her overnight but she doesn't look good. It happened within a min of the shot. She's only 2lbs and I'm afraid her body couldn't handle it. I'm so stressed that I did this to her. I wanted to get her groomed but they said she needs her 4 month shots before they would take her. I wish I would have waited longer knowing how tiny she is.
