I'm watching QVC and Dooney and Bourke is being featured. They were showing a bag with pale vachetta handles and explaining how the vachetta leather darkens over time 'like the brown canvas bags with LV's all over them'.

Well, they were also saying about how rich looking one bag was and that it looked like a bag that cost
$1, 000 or more. They go on to say how they are investment bags. Don't get me wrong. I love Dooney, but I prefer LV.
I went crazy over the Florentine satchels when they first came out, but I got tired of them fast and went back to LV.

I purchased a Dooney & Bourke limited edition and I gotta tell you, no it's not LV but it is a beautiful bag that I love to carry. Dooney & Bourke also has a trade in program that allows you to trade in a bag regardless of age or condition and they will give you 1/2 the retail cost towards another.

I love the Florentine Satchels. I had quite a few of them but I sold them to fund some LV's. I'm starting to miss them, though. Also, love the Alma shaped Dillen bags.

Really?? Dang I sold my DB's years ago for peanuts on EBay.

This is good to know..I've only owned one D&B and sold it but I like some of the styles they make...I really wish Yoogis would have a buy back program!

I have three Dooney & Bourke bags that were given as gifts to me by Caesars Casino. One is an all weather leather large hobo (VERY heavy), one is a cross-body Dillen leather, and the last one was the Florentine leather in "natural." I have to say that they are all really nice quality bags at a good price point. I like that they are an American company, but I do not like that the bags are being made in China. I like my LV's better than D & B.
