Quiet Riot lead singer Kevin DuBrow was found dead Sunday in his Las Vegas home, MTV.com is reporting.

DuBrow (photographed second from left) was 52. The cause of death is not yet known.

"I can't even find words to say," the '80s metal band's drummer, Frankie Banali, wrote on his official Web site. "Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friends Kevin DuBrow."

Quiet Riot bassist Kelly Garni and the band's current label, Chavis Records, also confirmed the news.

On a Web site honoring the memory of Quiet Riot founding member Randy Rhoads, Garni urged fans to be patient until the details of DuBrow's death become clear.

"I ask that no one here offer any speculation or opinions, theories or other things that could be construed as negative or, and I'm sorry for this, even sympathetic, right at this immediate time," Garni wrote. "I will explain to everyone here the facts and the truth in the next 24 to 48 hours as I realize this will affect us all."

Quiet Riot's biggest hit was "Cum On Feel the Noize," from their breakout 1983 album Metal Health. Their most recent album, Rehab, was released in 2006.

We met them in Orlando a couple of years ago. He was so nice and spoke with us, gave my daughter an autograph, and took pics with her. Such a shame. May he RIP!

How sad! I was just chatting with my youngest brother about this...he had saved up his allowance (at age 8!) to buy Metal Health (cassette!). Verrry big purchase for him. Our Mom was concerned and had my Dad look it over and probably listen to it, LOL. My bro was laughing today how he remembers there was a track called "Life's a B*tch" and he had to promise Dad he wouldn't listen to that track!!

RIP Kevin...so sad....

i don't think this has been posted yet. it was a cocaine overdose

Two weeks after news of his death first made headlines, the autopsy results on late Quiet Riot frontman Kevin DuBrow — who was found in his Las Vegas home November 25, dead at age 52 — were released Monday (December 10), according to The Associated Press. DuBrow reportedly died of an accidental cocaine overdose.
The wire service claims Clark County coroner spokeswoman Samantha Charles confirmed the cause of death following the receipt of toxicology results, also on Monday.
DuBrow's death was ruled accidental, and according to a spokesperson for the Las Vegas police department, there were no signs of forced entry at the home, and police have not suspected foul play.
