Hi,

Is it true that I need to wind my Rolex everyday even if I don't wear it to keep it in good shape? I was told this by a friend but not sure if it is true. I don't wear mine everyday now, and if I have to wind it every day it would be a little troublesome, but I will do it if that is that's best for the watch. Thanks!

I have a little card that came back with my Rolex after servicing, and I believe it says that if the watch has stopped, wind it 30 times. However, I don't wind my watch at all.

I have a watch winder because I usually wear my Rolex for nights out (which sadly, hasn't been much as of late) and it will stop after a day and a half. I got tired of having to wind it every weekend before going out. Our dealer said that over time the mechanics will wear down if the watch is wound all the time. Orbita was the brand recommended to me by our dealer. I have the Sparta Mini in pink and it is cute and functional! I think it was $150 (?)...
