Hey everyone, I've been a lover of black - and navy and neutral - grained leather bags for a while, but I do want to get into the monogram style... but the thing is, I don't think they go with a lot of my wardrobe?

I usually wear either printed tops or printed pants so a monogram on a purse kind of clashes, in my opinion.
I sold a lv pochette metis a year ago for that reason... but I do still want a monogram!
I don't think I want an LV one though... I see so many fakes now that it's kind of ruined it for me :(
Maybe the gucci monogram supreme print? What do you think? I don't want it to be trendy though... as a student on a budget I really have to buy bags that will last the test of time (or that have good resale value)

Any other monograms that I should consider?
Thanks in advance!

I have a similar wardrobe - it is very printed (no solids) so I often feel busy/logo bags clash with my outfits. The damier ebene has really been a good one. The other one I like is Fendi - their bags are fairly inexpensive second-hand and their dark brown zucca print is similar to the LV damier ebene. The Gucci one is nice as well. I think a logo that is brown/black or closer to dark works better with printed clothes than the light ones, which might be the problem with the mono print. I think logos are a trend now, but they are still timeless and have been around for ages. The people that hung on to their logo stuff from years past are right in style. You'd be in style now and still able to keep it for many years imo.
