questions on Dakotah bag

I just received my FOS black Dakotah bag. It is really pretty.


My question is: how is the bag holding up to wear? Looking at the way the flap is attached to the bag, it seems to me that over time there is a lot of pressure where the flap joins the bag, right at the level of the shoulder strap.


Wondering if anyone has had ripping issues??? Any info welcome!!!

I just got mine--but if you have the gunmetal one, the leather is so soft and squishy I don't see how the flap could be an issue. There isn't any tightness with the movement of the flap at all.

Some people did have issues with the shoulder strap where it attaches, however.... check the dakotah clubhouse for that issue.

I have the small one with gold hardware and have had no problems at all. I use it a lot as well.
