Hi there, i have questions for all Cartier Engagement ring owners:

I have this Cartier Declaration engagement ring in platinum with no side stones for about 5 years now, and it's getting a bit loose on my ring finger recently and i wish to have it one size down. So i took the ring into Cartier shop, one of the SA advise me that they have to pass it on to a jewellery specialist first then get back to me. They also advise me to add two little balls inside the ring band as it'll bring down one size if i wish.

My questions are have you ever had ring resized at Cartier? Would it damage the ring setting at all? If they cannot resize the ring for me should i go with the two balls method as they mentioned? They looks quite unusual, i was wondering if they are comfortable to wear:p:p

Any inputs are much appreciate it. :D:D

Same here, while not from Cartier, all my rings have them and it's never been an issue. How much of a size? FULL size? Quarter size? Half Size? If we're talking like a 6 to a 5, that's a lot more than a couple beads can do, I have no option because of my knuckles.

It's gonna be one size down, i'm not so sure the beads can do much in this case though....:confused1::confused1:

So like a 6 to a 5.75 then? Beads will do a little, youll want smaller beads/pads. 6 to a 5.5 will do a lot more. 6 to a 5, might as well have it really resized.
