I was at the outlet yesterday looking for small gifts for Administrative Professionals Day next week to give in addition to a party we are planning.

I finally decided to buy the black Legacy Signature North South Universal Cases 66201 SBKBK. I got several of them for $19.50 each (MSRP = $48) see pic below, but now I have some questions.

I have an Apple IPhone 5 in an Otterbox holder - which is a larger thicker case. My phone fits into the uni case but it is very snug. I am sure that it would be fine if the phone wasn't in the Otterbox, but most people carry their phones in some kind of case.

And of course, it wouldn't work for an IPhone 6 or other larger phone. It may work as a case for a small camera, or as a small wallet, it has some credit card slots and a slip pocket on the back.

Does anyone have this case (in comes in Khaki/Brown SIG too). How do you like it and how is it working for you? I am beginning to worry that this may not be a practical gift, but I did get gift receipts so they can be returned.

What are your opinions? Please vote in the poll above.

One more question. I assumed that these were MFF items and the price tag number begins with an F (but sometimes they re-ticket for the outlet.) I'm asking because the tag inside says "Made In China" but it does NOT have a dot signifying Made For Factory.

I saw some other small items at the outlet that did have dots on the tags so I am wondering if these uni cases were originally boutique items or has coach changed their tagging practices? Does anybody know?

That's soooo cute! I have a million of these and I don't use them to carry my phone. They're good for use as a mini wristlet. Those may be the Legacy ones.

I think it's very cute and would make a wonderful gift. I have something like this, only the east west variety for my camera. I would never use something like this for a phone. It seems like it would be too hard to get my phone out in time to answer a call.

thanks!

By the way, with all of the other policy changes has Coach discontinued the "no more than 3 per style" rule? I bought several of these universal cases (and a manager had to approve the purchase) but it wasn't a big deal. I was glad because in the past I have had to make multiple trips to the outlet to get enough on one item to gift to several people. I told them to look in the computer to confirm that I wasn't a reseller but it didn't matter. I remember seeing a Bride to Be in tears at the outlet because she wanted to buy gifts for her bridesmaids and they wouldn't let her have more than 3 identical items.

I gave the cases to the Admin Professionals today and the gifts were well-received. They admins seemed very pleased with this item and they also received flowers.

I have a couple of these and I don't use them for my phone. I usually put my AT&T hotspot in mine. I think they make a wonderful gift and people can figure out multiple uses for them.

That's so nice. Glad they like them !
I use these type wristlets all the time for my phone as extra protection and think they are great to run quick errands when you don't need to carry a whole bag.
