I wouldn't use a purseket either... sometimes it helps when you get a bag that has two separators, like the heritage stripe XL satchel that I'm getting, then I can use one side for like my wallet, ipod and receipts and such and then the other side for makeup, gum, lotion, etc. thats an easier way for me to keep my items organized in my bag... it helps when you have a makeup bag also, so you can keep those separate from everything else, so they won't spill out... thats IMO though...
