Question To Hermes Experts

I didn’t want to offend anyone asking about fakes but . . I purchased a Kelly from a woman I know, who was going through a bad divorce. I paid her $2500 for it although she didn’t have the dust bag tags or anything else - Of course she told me it was genuine. I was just wondering since almost every designer bag is copied if there was a chance this could be a fake. How can I verify it’s authenticity - only an Hermes store?

Unfortunately, Hermes is not exempt from being copied. As such, there is a special thread just for this purpose located in the Hermes Shopping section titled "Authenticate this Hermes". I'd post pictures of your Kelly in that thread, and the experts on the forum will chime in as to your bag.
