Question: Rolex watch

Hello everyone
I'm not quite sure if this goes here but I have a question regarding a Rolex watch..
It was purchased sometime in 1980 and I was wondering if someone could possibly give a price estimate on how much it's worth? Because I really have no idea how much it is, and they don't sell the exact same style/watch today but they do sell similar ones. It was given to me, so any help would be appreciated! Thank you

I agree with 2-3K. They are selling for $2500-3000 through dealers but you probably would not be able to sell for that price. You can find a lot of two tone watches for sale online in that age range. It would be very nice to be given one!

I'm guessing around $2-3K as well. Unfortunately, some of the older ones don't command the same price they used to because of the smaller face and size - people are generally doing mid-size or larger, even in Rolex's. I'd keep it! It's really lovely!

I never intended on selling it, I just wanted to know how much it could've been Thank you!
