Question on using Apple rain garde spray on treated leather trim of LV bag

Hi ! Would anyone be able to advise if you have used apple garde spray on cowhide leather trim that has been treated? I am referring to Dauphine bag's leather trim?

Thank you for replying, i read somewhere not to use apple garde spray on treated leather eg: damier ebene leather trim, so am wondering about the dauphine's trim..
