Question on new Chanel bag

Hi - I recently purchased a new Chanel flap but when I unboxed it it doesn't come with any tissue paper inside. I wanna stuff my bag to keep it in shape. Has anyone experienced that? The SA told me it's brand new. Can I go back and get some to stuff my bag? I've emailed my SA but haven't heard from her. Thank you.

The tissue paper doesn’t have Chanel on it. You can go buy regular tissue paper. Or consider getting little purse pillows to stuff. I really like Bag a Vie. They’re even supposed to absorb moisture.

That’s normal i just use pillow case with some tissue paper or bubble wrap

In most of mine, I had put the bubble wrap that comes in the Amazon boxes. It's more like a big bubble instead of bubble wrap.

If you get tissue paper, make sure to get acid free paper in order to avoid acid based deterioration.

Is it normal that the Chanel boutique only have 1 or 2 Chanel double flap in stock on the floor?

You can find acid free tissue on amazon.com. Art supply stores would probably carry it also.

I use soft white jersey fabric to stuff in my Chanel bags during storage...

Usually it comes stuffed with tissue paper. And for me I like to use the paper that originally comes with the bag so I don’t over stuff it .
I would pass at the boutique and get the paper from them .

I use old cotton shirts and fold them into my bags. It has worked out great for all 8 of my Chanel flaps!
