Just one quick question on Birkin serial numbers... Would anyone know around what year a Birkin with serial number "B square 5F" was manufactured/sold?

There is a thread in the reference library with that info.

Here is a link to the thread that has that info in it. I don't know about the 5F, but B is for 1998.

Go to the reference thread where you can find explanations for the year stamps (from A-Z, round or square). This year is M in square, last year was L, 2007 was K....

The other number / letter / number + letter combination is the personal id number of the craftsman who made the bag.
