I've never seen one, but is the gold color nice in box? Thanks for your help. I'm thinking of changing my order from chocolate brown box to gold box.

I like it but I prefer the richer, more "British Tan " shade of gold in Togo or Clemence. It's more pale and yellowish in box. La Van, if *I* had a choice, I'd take chocolate box ANY DAY! Just think - the patina on the dark colors is just amazing after a few years. CHOCOLATE!!!!
personally i like it it goes in the natural light colour sheme direction definately not compareable to gold in clemence more of a lighter variation of gold on togo
I could go either way on this one. That would have to be a judgement call on your part LaVan. For me, I need more of the darker color in my collection, but you have to look at your collection to make that decision. You do seem to own many darker shades...do you own anything in the lighter version?
Yes, this is a real personal choice I think. I tend to like lighter colors in textured vs. smooth leathers. BUt that's just me.....I have a friend who loves it the other way around so.....

Oh yeah, it does look like Barenia.. Forgot to mention that it is a size 40cm Birky and picture was from Yahoo TW auction, the seller is having it for sale approx. USD$6500.
