Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I'm not familiar with Chanel vintage pieces. I was looking on eBay for XL jumbo flaps & noticed some of the hologram stickers were threaded out (not possible to see the numbers) while others were clearly visible.
My question is how do the hologram stickers get so badly defaced? Is it because the bag has been used a lot (thereby causing the abrasion)? Or is it because the bag has been sent into Chanel for a "spa" treatment (thereby causing the wear & tear)? Thanks for any info.
