I always leave the strap on and do it carry that way sometimes. Even if I never used the shoulder strap, I love the look of it hanging down.

I love the look of the strap on, even if I'm using just the handles. And if I'm wearing a coat, I need the extra length to carry the bag on my shoulder.

i keep the strap and use it when i need my both hand .

I would wear it by the handles 99.9% of the time, but as others have said, if I have my hands full I will wear it by the strap.

I leave the strap on anyway though.

I think it does look great worn by the strap... I'm just more of a handles on shoulder gal...

I usually leave mine hanging all the time....although I don't use it 99.9% of the time. I guess knowing that I have that option makes me feel.....well, safe
