Question for those who have Speedy B 25 & Alma BB in same print

Ok I know I’ve been posting a lot of questions so thank you in advance for your time and patience. I have severe trouble making decisions - lol! I was a bit impulsive bc I found 2 like-new bags for pretty good prices in pre-loved market and took the plunge. They have all original packaging and everything. I’m awaiting them to go through authentication and be shipped to me (eBay.). I love the Damier Ebene canvas - it’s what draws me to LV so I ordered both of these bags in that print. I’d eventually love a Neverfull in classic Monogram since it’s kinda less vachetta to worry about. Anyways - did I waste my money on a repetitive purchase? Do they overlap too much in their function within your wardrobe? Any insight would be helpful! Thank you!

I have speedy b 25 and Alma bb in DE (and also classic speedy 25 and Alma bb in mono). To me, they look like totally different bags with different vibes, with speedy being more casual and easy going, and Alma - more elegant and dressy. Each has her spot in my collection and holds a special place in my heart :heart:
so my answer is: it’s not repetitive at all, and I think, you made a great purchase! Looking forward to be twinning with you! :ghi5:

Even though my monogram Speedy is a 40, and not a 25, I also have the Alma BB in monogram as well, and I love them both. They're completely different bags and styles (and size), so I feel you will have a lot of use out of both of them.

I think one way to imagine buying something in the same pattern is like buying the same color.
I used to be a big fan of the old Marc Jacobs leather bags. I have most bags in bag though, different models because the color worked best for my wardrobe and I would used most often.

Having the Speedy and the Alma BB in Damier ebene is like that, different bags in the same color you like.

Here they are! These are my first LV bags everrr. Only luxury brand I owned was YSL. I love my YSL but I was really wowwwwed by these! They were both in pristine condition with all of their original packaging. I’m very pleased with the sellers. Although they are both top handle and crossbody style, I can tell how they would be used differently. Thank you again for everyone’s feedback! Now I’m eyeing a preloved black Epi Alma bb at a good price but I’d have to let go of my Ysl toy Lou Lou or Lou camera bag - or both bc I don’t want to be careless with $. My collection is very condensed now. I used to have a large collection of Coach and although I still think Coach is fantastic, I sold off my collection to upgrade to these LV beauties. I foresee having them forever though. I feel like they are a great base to slowly building a luxury collection.

Oh and I love the speedy strap on my Alma so much so it’s cool to have both and be able to swap out the straps!

Congratulations! i love the damier ebene print on speedy b25 and alma bb. i have the speedy b25 in DE and clapton pm in damier ebene with raisin flap leather. Enjoy your bag in good health
