Question about Tiffany diamonds

I'd like to purchase my first pair of diamond stud earrings and wanted to know if it's worth it to pay the extra $$ and get them from Tiffany's? Does their cut really make a difference in the appearance of the diamond or would I just be paying for their name?

Any info./opinions are greatly appreciated!

no, to me it's absolutely not worth it.
Unless you're too lazy to shop around anyhow ;)
You can get Tiffany's quality stones or better anytime you want. To me there's no reason to pay a premium for them to brand it. In your ears, no one will ever know.
