Question about The Reissue Caviar 2014

Ive been looking at The new black caviar reissues for sale posts (2014) at The Chanel shopping thread with gun metal or silver.

Why is there A fold at The bottom Of The bag? As if to make it flat??
Will these additional corners be exposed to wear from bending to and fro?

Because Reissues come folded flat. As you put your stuff in it and use it (set in down, etc.) the fold will flatten. It shouldn't do anything to the corners, the corners aren't folded.

Thank you I have to check it out at the store in the future.
I bought a reissue (preloved) 2012A but its not folded (I think).
