Question about the leather...

I was looking at the griege work yesterday IRL and I noticed that some of the bags had a stiffer matte look and then some of them had a shiny softer feel. Which one is better? Do you think the matte stiffer one becomes softer and more worn in over time? Or does it stay that way?

I think they all soften up over time but I think it's a matter of personal preference, I like my bags to be a bit shiny not too matte but nice and soft....yummm!
