I've wanted this bag for awhile. I decided on a new Frye Handbag that I fell in love w/ for Fall/Winter. But we're leaving for Disney a couple of days after Christmas and I've come to the conclusion that I need a cross-body bag for that trip. I hate to buy a cheap cross-body bag that will only get worn for that week so I got to thinking that maybe I should go back to the Legacy Duffle that I wanted since it could be worn cross-body.
For those that have it/have tried it...does it lay well cross body? I don't want something I'm going to have to constantly move around.

For me the Legacy duffle lays well across the body and is the most comfortable cross body bag I own due to the wide, flat strap. This bag is a workhorse for me. Love the look and the comfort. HTH :smile1:

I think the Coach duffle is super comfortable crossbody or shoulder carry. I love that they have a zipper and they also have that outside zipper slip-type pocket. I've been hoping that some Legacy black ones appear on FOS! I have the large brown textured and large UV; and I'm a person who rarely, rarely purchases anything but black or brown shades of bags!
Being a big Frye fan myself, of course I'm curious to know what Frye bag you got. Oh do tell!

I had the sMe concern! But now I'm just concerned as to what color to get???

Sunflower?
Tourmaline?
Or safe black?
Have you seen them IRL? I have sunflower. Every time I look at it, it makes me smile. It is a perfect yellow. If you have to have your bag match your clothes, it might not be for you. I never wear yellow clothes, but I love it as a happy, bright contrast. Tourmaline is a very intense color. I don't shy away from color, but when I saw this color at Macy's, I thought it was too bright for me. I almost got it when I saw it at the outlet. It looked really pretty in the store, but I was afraid it would be neon once I carried it outside. If you love turquoise (which I do) and you aren't afraid of a super-intense color, this one could be for you. Personally, I find black to be a little boring, but it does go with everything. You could jazz it up with a pretty scarf. I've thought about getting black and then souping it up with a contrasting strap and tassels.

Tourmaline is pretty amazing and very unique....bright but beautiful and I receive compliments every single time I carry a tourmaline item. Just bought the tourmaline duffle after already owning the Molly in the same color and I love both. I avoided the duffles for a long time but then when I actually tried them, it was love....very slouchy, comfy, carries everything but doesn't look like it, wide strap is great for long day trips, etc.

I am 5'2" and plus size so I can't wear it crossbody. :(

OMG OMG can i maybe persuade you to get Sunflower!! this bag is legit!! i got it back in December of 2012 and worn it for months....and i still always go back to this bag. its COMFORTABLE....its BRIGHT....it GOES WITH EVERYTHING...its HOLDS EVERYTHING....it can BE WORN MULTIPLE WAYS....its just an AWESOME BAG!! i'm a normal jeans person and my sunflower duffle has been through a lot of hard times and ITS STILL BRIGHT AND YELLOW!!! i had no issues with color transfer .... i did notice about after 6 months that my bag did get a bit dirty from rubbing against my body BUT i just rubbed in some Coach moisturizer into the bag and BOOM she came back to life! this bag is one of my HG bags and i'll never let it go!!!...................and just to help ya out i'm about 5'2" and NOT SKINNY

I have the robin colour duffle and always get compliments on my bag. I think a nice bright colour is fantastic...but... it's coming into winter down under and it's more of a summer bag. for an all year round colour I'd get a cobalt blue!

Ooooooo I'm convinced!! I need one!!! now to find one?!?! WHERE...in scared to go thru ebay

I obtained robins egg duffle and tourmaline duffle on eBay and it was just fine. Look for sellers with all positive feedback and make sure you are seeing pics of the actual item you are buying, not stock photos, and buy from sellers who offer returns. Stores/outlets are better but as a last resort, it can work well.
