Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could provide a full list of currently existing colors for the Selma bag.

Two issues confuse me in particular:

(1) Macy's has a color called Cadet. Is this the same as Navy?

(2) Is there a different between tan and luggage? On the Michael Kors website, it seems like tan and luggage are the same, since the color for one of the bags says "Luggage (tan)". However, on another thread (forgot which one), someone distinguished between tan and luggage.

Your feedback would be appreciated!

I am not sure about the luggage and tan but I did check out the cadet color in macys. It is definitely not navy, it is more of a royal blue. I don't know why macys didn't get Navy. I wanted to take advantage of the current Macys 20% sale, but really prefer the navy. So I may have to buy it direct from MK without the discount.

The tan is definitely not the luggage, I bought the tan from Bloomingdales (which also has a lighter color featured in the picture on the site) and it did end up being a very light tan/beige. I returned it to Bloomingdales and bought the luggage at the MK boutique which is true to the color on the MK website. Apparently Macy's also sells the light tan as well.

I posed pictures of both bags in the Sophisticated Selma thread, both colors are quite nice, the light tan also leaning golden yellow beige and the luggage being true MK luggage brown. But I much preferred the luggage as that was the color I fell in love with so that's the one I ended up getting :)

Hope that helps!

Tan & Luggage are not the same colors. Tan seems to be a lighter color from Luggage. I agree with gottabagit, Cadet at Macy's is a royal blue color--nothing like the navy, which is an almost black blue. I also wanted to take advantage of the 20% off on the bright pink Selma, but Macy's does not stock that color either. So sad... :'(

No, Cadet is a much lighter blue than the Navy. Bloomingdales carries this color as well. Navy is closer to black and honestly, it was pretty difficult to see the difference between the black and navy until I compared the two in person. If you want a truer blue, Cadet is the better choice. Navy masquerades as black and the difference is small.
