Question about returning an item

I made a rather impulse (new release, full price) purchase at an in-store Coach boutique location yesterday. It's pretty far away from where I live so I figured I would just keep it... however, from my understanding on their return policy, I can actually just mail the item plus the receipt back to the JAX return center in Florida. Is this correct?
 
Yes I've returned bags bought in person in store to JAX before. Haven't had an issue yet. I agree with @whateve that I would have the store send a return label. My SA always sends me a label when I order through her and she mails to me. It's been hit or miss with other stores though. I have a small stockpile of extra return labels at the moment lol.
My last return though is taking forever to be credited. It was delivered the 13th. CS said they are taking 7 to 10 business days because they have so many orders.

The last time I ordered from a store, they enclosed a return label. I'll try to order from that particular store in the future.

Thank you all! I plan to purchase a different bag online that wasn't yet available in the specific store I went to. The online chat agent told me to just use the label that comes with that bag and write a note/include my original receipt and it wouldn't be a problem. :smile:
