Question About Leather

Does anyone know if Tod's spazzolato leather bags are more expensive than regular leather or patent leather bags?

I googled it but nothing really came up except for a prada spazzolato bag and a mulberry bayswater bag, and the bayswater bag in spazzolato was the same price as that bag in leather.

The spazzolato leather D-bags were priced about the same as the regular leather D-bags at Saks last year. However, the spazzolato leather is not as durable as the regular leather, according to my SA. The material is more prone to scratches and scuffs.
