Question about leather stretching

Hello! Reading through the forums, I’ve seen mentions of wocs or classic flap’s leather stretching either from using a base shaper or the way it’s being stored.

I was wondering if anyone has pictures they could share of what that looks like? TIA!

I’m interested in this as well, I just got a WOC and I’m not sure what kind of shaped I should get: leather/ felt? One with the sides or just the base?
