Question about Kelsey

I've been thinking about the Silver/Black leather Kelsey. These remind me of the ever so popular Sophia.
My question is, how is the leather on these, is it the pebbly madison or is it smooth?
I haven't seen them irl yet as I just re-homed my mini b due to the zippers sticking and it just being a tad too small.
So now that the funds have cleared, I would like a medium size bag, and this looks like it would be just that. Any thoughts would be so helpful.

I have a black leather/silver hardware Sophia...which I love and use a lot. I've also seen IRL the Kelsey. It's only my opinion but I feel the Kelsey is a smaller bag. Maybe by not much though. While the Sophia isn't considered a large bag, I love how it zips wide open and I can see everything inside and not having to dig or fumble around in it. I think the same can be said of the Kelsey.

Heck, my post made no sense at all. LOL I just read another thread on the Kelsey and it opens wide, holds a full size IPad...I'm not sure my Sophia would. The Kelsey is taller for sure.

Go for it! And don't pay any attention to me.

Oh, this bag really does hold quite a bit. I love that it's not to deep and you can see where everything is. I can't believe how much it reminds me of Sophia!

You're welcome! The bag is very easy to use. Zipper glides, crossbody strap makes the bag easy to get in and out of while wearing it. It's not too big and not too small. I am 5'4" and I find the crossbody strap to be a good length. I hope you get one if you like it in person!

I have three now (scarlet, mushroom and BV). It's a lot like the Phoebe, some are more pebbled than others. It looks small but holds a lot -- I have my slim envelope wallet, small saffiano cosmetic bag, two glasses cases, keys, phone, and random loose things, and it all fits and I can get it all in and out. Perfect size and easy to carry over the shoulder, by hand or cross body. Love these bags!

yes, the Kelsey is great, and the hardest part is deciding which color to get. The design is so simple and classic though that you can't really go wrong. The chestnut is beautiful!

I did get Kelsey in black and I honestly didn't think it would hold all of my things, but after having the mini b, ( I couldn't carry all of my essentials) this holds much more. I got a really pebbly one and you are also right on with the leather comparison to phoebe. Some were smooth and some were evenly pebbled.

Congrats on your new bag! I find this one so easy to use that I now own three of them! I ordered all of mine from Macy's with their friends and family discount. I have the black with gold hardware, the light scarlet in a pinkish shade and the BV! The scarlet is still calling my name but will have to wait till after the holidays!
