Hello there, I would like to get your opinions about the Horsebit 1955 mini before I pull the trigger. My main concerns are:
1. How much stuff can I carry in this mini bag? It looks bigger than most of my evening bags from the dimensions. But I am just not sure how much it actually fits, because different fabric and design can vary a lot. For example, can I fit a short wallet, an iPhone 12 Pro Max with case, a small makeup bag (smaller than my phone), Bose earbuds case (may be twice as big than air pods case), and a card holder in it? Those are the essentials that I have to carry anywhere with me.
2. A more important question is does or does not the buckles on the sides scratch the leather? I have seen some pictures claim such problem for both the 1955 horsebit mini and the new mini tote (I kinda want that one too…) that due to the design of the attaching buckles, they may scrape the sides of the leather of the bag. If that is the case, then I may not pull the trigger after all…I see no point to get a bag that is doomed from the design…
3. A minor question: What do you think about the small horsebit (comparing to mini preferably)? Although I think I made up my mind to get a mini because of the size, if the buckles scrape the leather, I might just get a small horsebit instead I am thinking. That said, I don’t really know what to do with the size of the small horsebit. It is not big enough to be a work bag for me (I need to at least fit a IPad), nor small enough to be a casual bag that can transit from shopping to dining to clubbing easily…
