Hello everyone!

So I got my empreinte Artsy little while ago but haven't worn her yet. I was wondering is it normal that the handle has some air under the leather under the handle? It's quite difficult to explain and I didn't get a good picture of this but there's like this "bump" in the leather under the handle. When I flatten the handle the bump disappears. My DH said that it's normal because leather is like that.. Just want to hear your expert opinions as well :flowers:

Here's the best picture I got from the bump. Irl the bump is much more noticeable. I marked the place of the bump to one of the pictures with a red circle.

Mine does not have the bump.. From the first shipment. However, wanted to buy another artsy but I cannot find one without the bumps. Yours is not tooo bad. The ones I saw in my local stores had three obvious bumps. Apparently heard from some that it shld go after carrying it for a while but I am still looking. Squeeze the handles to see if there are more bumps...

My first Infini Artsy had this, but alot worse than yours. I took her back and exchanged her for a bump free one! I would take it back and check out the others.

UPDATE:

Finally an update to this matter. So I went back to the LV today and asked about the bump and if it was normal. I had three (yes, three) SA's serving me - my regular SA, the one I bought the bag from and their repairs specialist. My regular SA and the one I bought the bag from both said that it was a good thing that I contacted them and they'll see if they have another one in stock but the repairs specialist said that all the bags are handmade and therefore different and individual. He said there's nothing they can do in this matter because IT IS NOT a defect. I was quite bummed when he said that  I'm so lucky I have such a great regular SA and I really appreciate the support she and the other SA gave me with this matter. They changed the bag for a new one even though the repairs specialist had a strong opinion about the bag and about not changing it.

Well, anyway, I just wanted to share this conclusion with you guys. I'm so so happy I got a new bag without any bumps or other defects. And the icing on the cake is that my new baby is made in France!

It makes me wonder though, wether it really matters where the bag has been made.. The one I had (the one with the problem) was made in Spain. The leather felt much more stiffer and kind of "not like real leather" with that bag whereas my new bag (without any defects) is made in France and leather feels sooo much softer and slouchier.. They also brought a Neige Empreinte Artsy on the table in order to compare it with the one I had and it had at least three (3!!! :wtf:) large bumps under the handle!
