When I was 7, I got my ears pierced but unfortunately the girl who did it, didn't do a good job, instead of doing it right in the middle of my earlobe, she did it slightly lower, which makes most earrings not look as good as they should. It's been bothering me since childhood. For example, when I wear my studs, they are not center and when I wear hoops it looks like the hoop is too low. Has anyone heard of having the hole closed up with surgery and repierced a few mm higher or is that too close where I might get one big hole and not be able to wear earrings?

I have had my ears repierced without having the original holes surgically repaired. I stopped wearing earrings for several months to allow the holes to close as much as they could--which was not completely. I did not end up with one large hole. My earrings hide the original piercings.
