Hi all,
I have the LV croisette, which I love, but the top gold bar of the lock on the flap never lies straight when the lock is closed. I think the flap is misaligned. It's minor and I tried to ignore it but it bothers me. When I took it to louis vuitton, they told me I could send it in to have it evaluated but it would take 4-6 weeks. Has anyone had this issue and how often does it come back in your favor? I don't want to pay to have this corrected but not sure they'll see it as a defect. Can't decide if it's worth it to give the bag up for 4-6 weeks. Appreciate any thoughts or feedback! Thanks!

Why not have them look at it if it bothers you? I just had a victorine wallet sent in for repairs. They gave me same timeline and in about 2 weeks they told me it was defective and gave me credit.

That would bother me, it's quite crooked. I was given the same timeline of 4-6 weeks when my Sarah wallet needed repair but it was back quicker than that (the glue/sealer had started coming apart and they repaired it free of charge).

I think it's worth sending it back in this case, if they say it'll cost you to have it repaired you can say no or they may say it's defective and give you a credit or replace it. It may depend on how old the bag is. It's a beautiful bag and it looks in great condition. Good luck and let us know how you go :-)
