Hi, I am looking for a little help regarding the side pockets on the small or medium Betty. I bought a bag and am wondering if the side and top zippers are supposed to lead into the same compartment, or if they are meant to be two individual areas. Hope the wording here isn't too confusing. Thanks.

Yeah, they lead into the same compartment.
I started laughing because I put my favorite shade of lipstick in one compartment and went to get it out and thought, "Hey, when did I put another lipstick in here?" It was so funny!
Anyhow, that's how I found out 2 zippers=1 compartment!
