Hi,

This is my first post on this forum. Less then 2 weeks ago I’ve ordered sneakers online from Louis Vuitton, The Netherlands. After wearing it 3 times the top layer of some kind of leather where's friction has formed a spot and it’s getting bigger.

I’ve already contacted my SA. Had problems before with another pair of sneakers, which got replaced 2 times before getting a refund, because of the problems with the last pair I got the feeling that when I have a problem, she's ignoring me. Really like her though (inside the boutique). As you can tell, I think that it’s not weird to say that I lost interest in LV shoes, in fact, I’m just scared to wear them because their so ‘fragile’.

For now I’m a bit lost, contacted LVservices on Twitter, which responded to me that there’s nothing that they can do since I’ve already worn the item, but isn’t it ridiculous that a ‘luxury’ shoe is showing this kind of wear and tear after 3 uses!?

Look at the photo, is it justified to say that i’m not satisfied with the product?

Any tips for further steps I can take?

Just return the sneakers and explain to the SA what you explained to us. It’s clearly not normal wear and tear for a shoe.

I haven’t had any issues with my LV sneakers but the same thing happened to my Givenchy sneakers - some of the leather wore off where the laces were rubbing [emoji53] but mine happened on the tongue of the sneaker and you can not see it like yours above [emoji52] I would bring them in for assessment.

My First pair of LV sneaker leather on top of the sides of the tongue have worn off. But I’m not sure if mine is due to quality but I think it from wearing them and the friction on the tongue sides from walking caused the leather to scrape away.

Stiching is also getting loose on the spot near that friction point, I'll bring them in tomorrow, hope they can do something. Really love them, but I can't deal with this kind of wear after only 1,5 weeks...

I only doubt if i'm not to picky.

If LV does not offer an exchange or refund, file a claim with your credit card. Most credit cards offer purchase protection against defective goods.

Louis Vuitton has offered me a refund, so i’ve returned them. Just today, I received a message that they’re sending them back to me because they found traces of use...

I’m so mad and dissapointed. The whole point was that the shoes were forming a spot and loose stitching AFTER USE.

Should I open a Paypal dispute?

That's ridiculous! I would write a strong email back and refuse the shoes when they are delivered. I would also alert them that you are opening a dispute with your card company and/or Paypal. Hopefully the involvement of a third party will be enough for them to let it go. Please keep us updated!

First time posting here. I’m currently in the same dilemma. I bought the Beverly Hills sneakers in black in october 3 months later the sole separated from shoe. Took them to LV when it was starting to show sign that it was about to separate. Was told they were ok. 2 weeks later the sole separated. Took them to LV and were exchanged for the same pair. Now the same things is happening again and on my way tomorrow to try and exchange them.
