quality makeup/Dop Kit for travel

does anyone have a recomemndation for an excellent quality travel case for makeup and toiletries. It can be leather or fabric. Not Valextra but nicer quality than say....most made in China lines. Retail $400 and under. Appreciate any ideas. Also looking for modern styling. thanks !!!

I spent a while looking around for a specific makeup bag.

I ended up getting one from smythson as it ticked all my boxes (made in italy, very high quality, solid leather, satin lining, brass embossed hardware) and it came wrapped beautifully.

It has held up very well so far, I would reccommend.

I have tried all sorts of travel cases and finally found Nirvana with a few Prada black nylon cases.

- Triangle cosmetic for makeup
- Large 3 compartment zipper pouch for toiletries
- Large oblong zipper case for hairbrush, extra supplies for long trips, etc.

Saks and neimans both usually have a decent selection online.

In my experience leather is not such a great choice because of spills, being near water, etc. The prada pouches are lightweight, water resistant, sturdy, and clean up easily. Highly recommended.
