Purseforum app for iPad problem

I just got an iPad and attempted to download the Purseforum app from the app store three days ago but every time I "click on" tPF icon on my home screen I get a blank screen with a "Loading..." message. It cannot be taking three days for this app to load!! When I go back to app store the app is listed as "Installed", nothing I can do. Help! I'm horribly computer-illiterate so please explain in terms suitable for a very slow child. Thanks.
