I always like it when PurseBlog takes a look at the lesser known stars in the bag galaxy. Today, Megs shines the spotlight on Ghurka Handbags.

Ghurka bags have always seemed like very accessible workhorse bags, nice quality, priced decently.

What do you think?

There are more at the link,, but I am particularly drawn to this mink color.

What about you?

I have the Match bag in black leather and use it frequently. It's very versatile; you can wear it crossbody, double the strap and wear it shorter over one shoulder, or remove the strap and use it as a clutch.

It's big enough for daily errands and has some good internal organization, in addition to the two pouches.

The suede/leather combo looks beautiful, but I would not pay that much for it. Mine was not nearly that expensive.

Here's a photo of my bag (along with the dust bag) in case anyone is curious. It's really the perfect size for a crossbody.
