How about Linea Pelle bags? They have several messenger style. I have the older version of this Dylan bag and love it.

Tano makes some beautiful, and funky, crossbody bags.

I am loving the new Coach Bleeker Large Duffle, it can be crossbody depending on your frame and if you want funky, it comes in magenta (currently out of stock until 10/21).

I adore Mulberry for crossbody -- lots of styles, small, large, messengers, etc. Try www.mulberry.com This is definitely COOL stuff.

Forget to mention that I use a Gucci Messenger as my cross body. It is a flat bag and comes in various styles and sizes. Looks tres cool with casual jeans...and also, with all black outfit.

If you can find an auth. one on ebay or wherever (mine was on sale 1/2 price at NAP)...I highly suggest the Jimmy Choo Biker Ring hobo! The strap does convert to messenger style. Mine's black.
