Pure alhambra - Keep? Or stick with Vintage Alhambra?

Hi VCA Lovers! I recently purchased a gold/MOP 5 motif vintage alhambra bracelet. I’ve been on the fence about keeping it, then I found a Pure Alhambra onyx bracelet.

I already boxed up the MOP to send back (wish I took a picture), but here is the onyx Pure on my wrist. I only have a pic of the MOP in the box.

Which would you keep if you had to pick just one?? Pure is harder to find and a bit more substantial. I also sometimes stack a JUC and Clash as options for a stack.

Or do I keep both and layer Pure with the vintage MOP? I’m so conflicted. Thank you!

I love that bracelet. I’d personally keep the onyx, it looks absolutely stunning with the Cartier stack.

I have the pure onyx earrings and absolutely fell in love with them...with that said I like the mop bracelet more than the pure bracelet in your pictures

But also I know pictures don't do the pure justice as you can't see the beauty vs in real life

Long story short I'm not much help in picking 😅 I like both!

I think they're very different and would've kept both. But if I must choose one I'd go with onyx for practical reasons since it's a bracelet. It sounds like you're not fully in love with the MOP since you contemplated to send it back. Don't keep it because of FOMO.

I think the Pure Alhambra onyx bracelet plays nicely with the Cartier Loves. It presents a cohesive look. The vintage MOP is a different look. Do you think it might be worthwhile to open up that box and try it on again? Take a pic?

I appreciate all of the feedback. I’m leaning towards the onyx Pure and agree for a necklace, go for MOP.
I wish I could reopen the box but in order to initiate the return (VCA online has a new return process) I had to upload photos of the box sealed with the VCA secuity tape. Yesterday was the last day to initiate the return…. I’ve been torn on the decision for weeks.

I personally love the Pure Alhambra line. It is, like you said, more substantial and it has more of a presence when worn. I have the necklace and the earrings in MOP already but I'm also tempted to add the Onyx pendant as well. Go with what your heart wants and not what's "more popular". The Vintage line is much easier to get if you do decide you wanted the bracelet in the future.

Pure makes a bold yet clean statement. It’s one of those pieces where it is clear to you if you really gravitate toward it and are just torn because the vintage is more popular. Personally I love it and would get it first. Then see what else you love.

The pure onyx looks so good with your love bracelets, it looks substantial enough to not be overpowered by them.
I also tend to prefer more unique items, but that's personal preference

Bisoux78 - I’ve been searching for the Pure MOP 9 motif necklace forever from a reputable reseller since it’s not available for order from VCA. I love the necklace so much and hope to add it to my collection someday. What beautiful pieces you have!
I am leaning towards keeping the onyx pure bracelet - feels like I was originally being swayed by the popularity of the vintage line. Thank you for your input.

I don’t have an opinion on the stacking cause I don’t stack much. The people who do just own it. As people have mentioned the pure will get scratched more easily than vintage. As long as you’re ok with that you’re good to go.
