Purchasing vintage Epi question

Would you purchase vintage epi leather? I found a keepall 50 I’d like to purchase for my husband. He loves vintage and I own an Epi Alma bb. I know how durable it is. My concern is that LV doesn’t repair epi. Curious if anyone has any feedback about this. It would be an excellent price and I know he would love the look of it.

I have purchased vintage epi! I bought myself a petit noé (from 1994 I believe) off Fashionphile in 2018 and it's a frequent bag in my daily lineup. As for your concerns about LV not repairing epi, I did get stitching repaired on the base of mine and an additional piece of leather added to the strap that had come off before I purchased it (not sure about the technical name but I called it a little keeper, something that kept the loose end of the strap from flapping around or close to the bag hardware)

They were very happy to repair the stitching and also submitted the little leather piece repair for my consideration, which I happily agreed to!
