Purchasing online using Paypal

So Im planning to purchase a gift from LV via Paypal (using credit card). I've never used it so I was wondering how it will show up on the credit card statement? The statement will come before I give the gift- I don't want to ruin the surprise before.

My experience has been that transaction will read, "paypal," then list business' name.
So, "lv" may show up on your statement. No details about item(s) purchased, however.

My experience is that after you make the payment to PP, when your
payment confirmation comes to you, at the bottom it will say, you
have just sent a payment to _______ in the amount of. It will appear
on your cc statement as _____________.

What the others above said. Your credit/debit card statement will never mention the item that was purchased. Just the business name, transaction number, date/time, phone number and the amount that you paid, etc. So your item will remain a secret.
