Lawny, I think that that's very thoughtful of you to consider your SA and their plight. Depending on the relationship you have with your SA, and if you or they won't feel weird about the inquiry, I think reaching out to your SA to see if they would get the commission for the sale during quarantine ... if not, I would wait until the store opens back up to ensure that they get the commission. Providing that everything and everyone is still the same after the quarantine is over.

My bday was a month ago and my hubs was able to work with our SA to secure me a gift and have shipped to him. She definitely gets credits so reach out to your SA! I’m very close with my SA and know she is trying to make sales, but also be respectful of clients during this time.

Thank you so much for your insight! I wasn't sure if texting my SA about it would create any unwanted pressure of needing to sell/ needing to buy but i will definitely reach out to her now!

Yes - my SA mentioned that they could courier anything I wanted to the house and that he would very obviously get credit. Both my Cartier and VCA SAs have mentioned that they have been busy working from home, which was surprising (pleasantly!!) to hear.

If you have your SA card/number you should definitely reach out. My SA from the NYC boutique reached out to me via txt message and indicated that he is working from home until things open up.....so your SA just might be working as well and may welcome the commission during these trying times. Nice of you to consider them....

I def waited for my SA during quarantine. They WFH but instead of shipped I prefer to curbside pick up so I just waited til then :) I love building relationships with SAs and even go out of my way during holidays to make purchases from each SA so they can get a little commish bonus :)

How much do they get? So far I purchased online, and from 3 or 4 reps in two boutiques. Although they never mentioned anything like commissions I still have the impression that they are eager to get their name on the sale. Don't get me wrong it was subtle, but still noticable. Gives a bad touch for me as a customer.

Anyone have a good SA from Cartier Mansion 5th ave to rec? I purchased from an SA at Fifth Ave over the weekend and the guy was mediocre. I need to take my SO there and buy him his bday gift a couple of months later and would love to have a better experience and actually build a better relationship with a better SA. Thank you.
