Purchasing from a reseller online

Hi All,

I'm new to the Hermes world and I'm ready to purchase my first Birkin. I've been dreaming of owning one since 2006 and just got though a rough year and decided life is too short - IT"S TIME!

Anyway, I'm hoping someone can help guide me as to what I should do.
I called my local boutique and according to the SA the normal procedure is to make an appointment in either January or June with the owner to discuss styles, specs etc., right before she goes to Paris. Hopefully she'll be able to obtain the bag I want while in Paris. I don't know if she will be getting the bag in January, or if I'm just rolling the dice and hoping she will be able to get exactly what....I just don't know.

Anyway, because I used up my life time supply of patience years ago , I started looking into resellers. i found this reseller and they have exactly what I want:

Here are my questions:

1.) Do any of you have experience dealing with this web shop? Are they reputable?

2.) Do you think that $14,500 for a 35cm Birkin in Togo with phw is reasonable? If not, what is a fair markup these days?

I tried to find answers to these questions by searching the forum but couldn't find any specific information...unless I'm doing something wrong.

I think you should try the sticky thread called 'resellers discussion' or something similar in this sub-forum. As to pricing, it is ultimately up to you to decide what is the price you want to put on a bag, ie how much is it worth to you.
