Purchase from Duty Free Shop

I recently purchased a bracelet from a duty free shop while I was on vacation. I didn't try the bracelet on until I got home and found it was a little big (turned out to be a gm). I called my local Hermes store and asked if I could exchange it for the pm--they said I could. My question is since the price I paid at the duty free shop is considerably less than the price at my local store, will I have to pay the difference when I do the exchange? TIA

I am sure if you take it into your local boutique they will just let you exchange it. They might even let you exchange it for the wider one if you are lucky....

No, it shouldn't be a problem. I exchanged a shawl I bought in US for another color here in Sweden.
