Hello folks!
So, I have been going back and forth about my HG earrings on this forum for awhile. I debated getting the Tiffany Victoria earrings or the VCA Vintage Alhambra. My DH has told me to choose wisely as this pair should last me a little while. If I empty the bank with the Tiffany purchase, the VCA will be placed waaaaay down the gift list :P

I found a local reseller in my area who has a pair of Tiffany Victoria earrings up for grabs.
So, essentially, the Tiffany Victoria earrings would be a significant savings compared to the VCA Vintage Alhambra. The seller does not have any of the paperwork that goes along with the earrings, but I'll be taking them into Tiffany's for a cleaning, so hopefully that will help authenticate them.

I have admired the Tiffany Victoria earrings for a long while. Most jewelers will not replicate that design as it's too difficult to find 8 marquis diamonds that all match perfectly together.

However, I know that VCA seems to hold its value differently than Tiffany's does. I'm also in love with the vintage alhambra design. I don't necessarily like how the VCA is pave, but the design is gorgeous.
My hope is to wear these earrings ALL THE TIME  I don't really want to take them off.

What are your thoughts? I'd need to decide by Monday about the Tiffany pair.
Thanks!!

I have tried both and I ended up buying a pair of preloved earrings that were custom made and modeled after the large Tiffany Victoria earrings. I love them but I don't wear them daily. It's not that they're too heavy. I am just not huge on earrings right now. I am about to purchase the VCA vintage Alhambra guilloche earrings, and hope to wear those regularly. Eventually you will want both in your collection. I feel that diamond earrings are so classic and wearable, so I would get those first. They are gorgeous. All brands have price increases at least every once in awhile, so I would get the more expensive item first.

VCA. And I’m a not a fan of them generally.

Are those Birks earrings you have in your second holes?
Thanks for the opinion!! What are you a fan of? :)
And, great eye! Indeed, those are Birks earrings in my second holes. I'd been searching forever for a nice/cute pair of small diamond hoop earrings that I could wear all the time (sleep time included). These fit the bill quite nicely. So, as soon as they went on sale (rose gold), I just grabbed them. Ideally, I'd preferred the WG or YG, but hey, sometimes you give a little for the right price :D

Good call. If you get something which you love and will wear often, it’s totally worth it. I have bought things in the past because they were great deals but if I don’t end up wearing them often or at all, that’s a waste of money.

May I ask the size of the VCA earrings which you tried on? They are stunning!!!

Be careful buying Tiffany without any paper work, Tiffany will not in any authenticate them for you without proof that you are the original owner ... they will be almost impossible almost to resell ...

I love both so I am won't be a big help, vintage Alhambra is on my wish list lol. I have the large Victoria earrings, I took forever to pull the trigger but this pair is super classy and clean, I absolutely love them. I rotate between Victoria and VCA Frivole earrings.
I'd be careful from the source you are buying from since there is no paperwork. I was told they are hard to replicate. Good luck deciding..you cant go wrong with either or.
