So I'm sure a lot of you know by now how to "shorten" the straps.. Since each strap comes as two pieces, if you use the longest piece and fasten the hooks (not sure if it's called a hook, but it's the part that goes through the holes) to the bottom D rings, that has become a way to wear your PSM shorter.
I'm wondering, for anyone that has been wearing it like that--have you encountered any issues? Wear and tear on the hook/holes? I'm worried that if I wear it like that, over time the one hook on each strap might strain a bit and stretch? Maybe I'm being a worrywart, but I just wanted to know if this was a thing.

P.S. Has anyone gotten holes added to their straps? Either by LV or professional leather handlers?
